I’m reacquainting myself with what I would call the “essay” form of writing for my current production on the theme of friendship. I must say I’m enjoying letting the wheels spin free – with the knowledge that, like film editing, the process will get more and more challenging. It’s all about discovering how to reinvent the making of each film so that I come at the material with fresh eyes.
